We believe that the Bible is the inerrant Word of God.

The Bible is the inspired word of the Creator of the universe. The Bible is a complete document consisting of 66 books, each book substantiating the others. The elements of the Bible are intimately and closely welded together with harmoniousness between each of the books and the Bible as a whole. There are clear lines of historical evidence supporting the accuracy of the Bible. The amazingly detailed typology of the book, woven like a magnificent mosaic in God's great redemption plan from Genesis to Revelation, argues strongly for the authenticity of the Bible.

The Bible never contradicts itself. The Bible has never been wrong. Predictions written by the Old and New Testament prophets that are recorded in the Bible that have been fulfilled to the letter, argue for the authenticity and accuracy of the Word of God. The Bible is truly written by the Creator of mankind. He has given us the formula for success and eternal life after we die.

We believe the Lord Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God the Father.

Jesus left heaven to become a man in order to die on the cross for the sins of the world. He was born of the virgin Mary, conceived by the Holy Spirit. He was without sin during his life. He was crucified on a cross and suffered for the sins of mankind, paying the penalty of sin with his precious blood. He was raised from the dead and now sits on God's right hand in heaven. It is through His finshed work that we are offered the free gift of salvation.

We believe that a person must be saved in order to go to heaven.

According to the Bible, a person is saved and their sins forgiven only by accepting God's free gift of salvation through the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross. Because Jesus bore the sins of the world, those who believe in His name and accept His gift of salvation are forgiven, and will spend eternity in heaven rather than hell and the lake of fire.

A person can do nothing on their own to get into heaven. We are all born sinners, and one sin is enough to keep a person from entering heaven. The Bible says in Ephesians chapter 2 and verse 8, "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast."

What that means is that no person can do anything on their own to get into heaven. They cannot live a good life or do their best in order to gain God's favor. It is by God's "grace" that we are saved, not of ourselves, it is a "gift" offered by God. And just in case someone wants to brag that they are living a good life and doing good works to get into heaven, this verse says it is "not of works, lest any man should boast."
